Mewar and France to work together on Heritage ConservationUnder the nationwide campaign “Make in India”, a mutual collaboration between Maharana Mewar Charitable Foundation and National Domain of Shimod, France has been initiated to exchange and develop tourism, heritage conservation, education, history, research, art and culture.

D’ Housenville, General Director and Marion Hughes Mission in charge met Lakshyaraj Singh Mewar, trustee of the foundation and toured City Palace.

 Chief Official of Joint Custodian Initiative of Foundation, Vrinda Raje Singh has informed that both organizations will be research on tourist and historical centers managed under Maharana Mewar Foundation and prepare a report on Folk Art, Crafts, Cultural Attires, Festivals, and Food etc. The organization will ensure that how their research will be helpful to France.

According to the contract, professionals and experts of France who belong to the fields of Tourism, Education, Environment, Lake, Sports and Arts will visit Udaipur and selected representatives from Udaipur will visit France.

The French representatives also met Shreeji Arvind Singh Mewar, Founder of Maharana Mewar Charitable Foundation.
