The 68th Foundation Day of Bharatiya Lok Mandal presented an emotional stage play wherein the generation gap between father and son was beautifully enacted. As is the system in any family, a father keeps advising a son about the do’s and don’ts but a son never takes theses advices seriously. The situation causes a clash between father and son and like any family scene; a mother is always either the bridge between the two or makes efforts to bring peace among the father and son.

The woman tries to pacify her husband by explaining that he must not force his ideas upon the son. The story goes on when the same son becomes a father and behaves just like his own father. The mother gets shocked to see that her son is following the same footsteps which he openly used to oppose. The story is every family’s story where every father is opposed by son and vice-versa but similar attitudes are in circulation the entire life for everyone.

Today another stage play “Krishna” directed by Udaipur’s very own Ashok Banthia will be staged at 7 p.m. in Lok Kala Mandal. Entry is free for public.
