UPDATE: The Administration of Pacific College have informed Anil Kumar Mathur, Examination Controller at RTU and he has assured to take the necessary steps after investigating the issue.
Exam question paper of First semester’s Electrical and Electronics Technology (Rajasthan Technical University – RTU), which was scheduled today at 10:30am got leaked and uploaded on a website jumpshare.com by an unidentified person. The question paper was available for download since 12 Feb.
“Questions of all 5 units of the subject are 100 percent copied”, says Professor K. K. Chhabra, Director Pacific College of Engineering. The exam was conducted today in 173 colleges of Rajasthan from morning 10:30-1:30.
At 1:38am last night, UdaipurTimes.com (UT) received a mail through website’s contact form informing about the leakage of question paper and link to the website where it is uploaded. When confirmed with several colleges of Udaipur, it was found that the question paper uploaded on website is exact copy of the original question paper.
UT correspondent also contacted District Collector Vikas Bhale; Bhale said, “We will inform this to RTU and they will confirm it, the action will be taken by RTU only, as district administration is not authorized.”
However, the examination controller of RTU, Professor Anil Kumar Mathur is still not available to confirm the leak.
The leaked paper is hand written on a notebook of a Jaipur based engineering college.
Other engineering colleges of Udaipur also confirmed the ‘Leak’, but could not officially announce till RTU doesn’t confirm it.
