Shekhar Panchal Murder Case: Prime accused arrested in Kota

Pradeep Singh Bhati, 32, prime accused in Shekhar Panchal’s murder has been arrested from Kota last night of Sunday. Bhati was absconding from more than a month. He also tried to confuse the investigative authorities by leaving a suicide note near Hardwar, which police found on 15th January.

Pradeep Singh Bhati, 32, prime accused in Shekhar Panchal’s murder has been arrested from Kota last night of Sunday. Bhati was absconding from more than a month. He also tried to confuse the investigative authorities by leaving a suicide note near Hardwar, which police found on 15th January.

Bhati allegedly kidnapped Shekhar Panchal, a 22-year-old student of Pacific College on 31st December and asked for a ransom of Rs 1 Crore and 5kg of gold.

On 10th January, Shekhar Panchal’s body was found floating in Chambal River, near Kota, which led to a massive manhunt for the murderer and has finally culminated with the arrest of Pradeep Bhati.

According to news published in Dainik Bhaskar, Pradeep Singh Bhati was arrested from Dadabadi Police Station area of Kota.

The Udaipur police will start their interrogations to come to a conclusion on the motive, procedure and finally and hopefully the accused will be dealt with accordingly.
