A specially operated train for armed forces during elections suddenly broke down at crossing gate near Gayariawas. Reasons for the break down are yet unknown.

Sunday morning around 10 a.m., the train that was specifically operated for the forces on election duty suddenly came to a halt at the crossing gate. This sudden break down at the gate made it difficult for the public to move across the track and traffic jam at both the sides was the obvious result. The Udaipur-Mavli train was heading towards Chittorgarh. After the sudden halt, the loco driver got down to assess the situation. The train could leave only after 15 minutes.

After the train moved ahead, it took almost half an hour for the traffic to clear away from the site. Exact reasons for the break down are yet unknown though there may be a probability that someone pulled the chain.
