Online travel aggregator MakeMyTrip.com reported that Udaipur witnessed the second highest growth in domestic travel booking in the country. Udaipur reported a 56% increase in travel booking signifying its dominance as one of leading holiday getaways in the country.

Coorg led the growth chart in the country reporting a 77% increase while Goa (34%) and Andamans (18%) summed up the top 4.

In terms of international locations, Thailand emerged as favourite destination for Indians this Diwali with a 25% growth followed by Dubai, Bali and Mauritius.

In terms of overall numbers, Goa emerged as the top destination followed by Jaipur, Delhi, Hyderabad, Bangalore, Nainital and Udaipur.
