The transformation of the ghat section at Chirwa into a Valley of Flowers has been completed. The destination is set to be inaugurated on Friday at 11:30 am.

The transformation of the ghat section at Chirwa into a Valley of Flowers has been completed. The destination is set to be inaugurated on Friday at 11:30 am.

Chief Forest Conservator IPS Matharu informed that the Valley of flowers will be inaugurated by State Home Minister Gulab Chand Kataria on Friday at 11:30 am. The destination has been developed at a cost of Rs 1.6 Cr. Matharu informed that Forest and Environment minister Gajendra Singh Khinwsar will also be present on the occasion along with UDH minister Shri Chand Kriplani and Agriculture minister Prabhulal Saini.

Almost 80 hectare falling under the ghat section has been covered with different flowering plants under the urban forestry scheme.

This destination is set to have a direct benefit to Purohiton ka Talaab and Biodiversity park.
