A woman has registered a complaint of harassment against 2 men in Goverdhan Vilas area. As per the complaint, the woman who lives alone after the death of her husband was approached by a patwari who said that she would be required to move away from the property as the land she lived on belonged to UIT. She also alleged that the patwari asked for 10,000 rupees if she wanted to keep the land with her. She gave him 4000 rupees at that moment. Later when she was unable to give the balance amount, the patwari along with a friend went to her residence and behaved indecently with her. Police has registered a case against the patwari and his friend and is now investigating the case.
