World Bank To Grant Rs. 10 Crore To CTAE

It is good news for the Engineering Colleges all over Rajasthan. The World Bank has granted Rs. 70 Crore to 10 Engineering Colleges under the “Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme” scheme. Of the 10 Colleges to which the grant has been sanctioned, five are government institutes and five are private colleges. These Colleges have been selected based on their performance over the years.

 

It is good news for the Engineering Colleges all over Rajasthan. The World Bank has granted Rs. 70 Crore to 10 Engineering Colleges in the state under the Technical Education Quality Improvement Programme Scheme.

Of the 10 Colleges to which the grant has been sanctioned, five are government institutes and five are private colleges. These Colleges have been selected based on their performance over the years.

World Bank To Grant Rs. 10 Crore To CTAEHowever, government colleges are given preference over the private ones. The selected government colleges will receive Rs.10 crore each, whereas the private colleges will receive Rs.4 crore each.

The chosen colleges include private colleges in Jaipur and other cities and government colleges in Bikaner, Kota, Ajmer, Udaipur and Bhilwara.

As, College of Technology And Engineering [CTAE], is the only government college for engineering in Udaipur, it is most likely that CTAE may receive the sum of Rs.10 crore from the World Bank
