Geetanjali Medical College & Hospital, Udaipur was awarded the “Excellence in Community Engagement” award at the recently organised fifth global conclave in Kochi by the Association of Healthcare Providers (AHPI).

Geetanjali Medical College & Hospital, Udaipur was awarded the “Excellence in Community Engagement” award at the recently organised fifth global conclave in Kochi by the Association of Healthcare Providers (AHPI).

The award was being honored to Geetanjali Hospital’s CEO Dr Kishor Pujari and Sr. General Manager Quality & Accreditation Sukanta Das by the honorable Health Minister Kerala, K.K. Shailja & Arch Bishop Andrews. The award was presented in recognition of delivering preventive & curative healthcare services to the community as social welfare activity through compassionate & dedicated care.

Dr. Pujari in his interview said that the award itself indicates that the national body has recognized the community services & social services done by GMCH in the field of preventive health and awareness for positive contribution towards social welfare.

The award was presented after a detailed facility and community services assessment and inspection of the hospital processes by the representatives of AHPI for two months. After the preliminary evaluation GMCH was shortlisted on the basis of the documentation auditing and assessment done by the AHPI team.

The award ceremony included 8 categories in which “Excellence in Community Engagement” was awarded to Geetanjali Hospital.
