When most of the wannabe entrepreneurs are struggling for new start-up ideas, getting heavily funded by VCs, Imran, resident of Alwar has different perspective.

Teacher of mathematics, Imran was less known to the world until the Prime Minister Narendra Modi mentioned Imran in his recent address at Wembley Speech “My India resides in people like Imran Khan,”

Apart from basic subjects like Science, Hindi, History, Geography, Math etc., Imran has also created app for Antonyms and Synonyms, General Knowledge, Indian Constitution, SSC Exam, Solar System, Mughal Empire, 20-20 RPSC GK and even an app for Maternal Care. Interestingly, Imran never took any formal training in app development; he is self learner and made his first mobile app in 2012.

Out of several inspirations, Imran is also inspired by Salman Khan, Founder of Khan Academy which provided educational videos on YouTube. “I wish to do something like Khan Academy,”  says Imran in a short online conversation with UT.

After hundreds of fans, students, colleagues, media and local administrative authorities flocking to meet and greet Imran for his achievement, recently BSNL has also offered free internet service for Imran for all his future developments. Imran has thoroughly focused on providing value to its students and anyone who is looking for an easy, hand on method to get knowledge of any academic subjects.

Imran Khan has brought laurels to his city Alwar, to his state Rajasthan but whole India is now proud of his noble work of bridging the field of academics and mobile technology.
