Labdhi Surana, a student of Rockwoods School is representing India in the 39th International speed skating criterium. The championship is currently being held in Gross-Gerau, Germany from Apr 28-30, 2017.

Labdhi Surana, a student of Rockwoods School is representing India in the 39th International speed skating criterium. The championship is currently being held in Gross-Gerau, Germany from Apr 28-30, 2017.

Labdhi is participating in the under-8 category. She will be representing India in the 100 mtr, 200 mtr and 300 mtr races.

Labdhi’s coach Manjeet Singh informed that the championship is being organised by European Confederation of Roller Skating. This is the biggest of its kind championship in the world and will see participation of 656 kids from 31 nations includeing Australia, USA and Japan. India will see a representation from 7 participants.

Labdhi’s additional coach Pushpendra Singh has evinced confidence that Labdhi is entering the championship with full preparation and will be a strong contender for the title.
