Physical harassment has been reported by a foreign national staying at Hanuman ghat.
Ambamata police have arrested owner of The Journey Guest House at Hanuman ghat. Based on the report of a 54 year old woman from Colombia, police have arrested Vikas Jain s/o Kishan Jain for attempt of physical harassment. Vikas Jain(23) is the owner of a guest house at Hanuman ghat which is frequented by foreign nationals.
As per ASI Jagdish Chandra, the Colombian national came to Udaipur with her son on 4th August. She took a room in The Journey Guest House. There were 6-7 beds in one room. While she was sleeping on one of the beds late night, Vikas entered the room completely drunk and started misbehaving with her. Staff and the lady’s son got up when they heard her screaming. Seeing the people awake, Vikas ran away from there.
