Robotics Workshop at Sunrise Group of Institutions


Electrical and Electronics Student Association of Sunrise Group of Institutions, Udaipur organized a two day Robotics Workshop “The Beginner’s Robotics” in SGI campus on 12th and 13th March 2013. Around 100 students from various colleges participated in the workshop.

At the starting of the workshop, kits were distributed to the students, which they utilized by making various robots during the workshop. On the first day, students were given training on Simulator software to work on Robots and on the second day, they were given training with the robotics kit. Thereafter, they participated in various competitions on Robotics.


Experts from Jaipur delivered lectures and imparted basic practical training in the field of Robotics. Aditya Vyas from C&IR, Jaipur guided students about wireless robotics.

Vinita Tiwari, HOD EEE and ECE department briefed about the importance of Robotics in the field of Engineering and the scope of robotics in near and far future.

In the end of workshop, Principal Gazanfer Ali conveyed his wishes to all students and thanked C &IR team for their work. He also announced to establish a ‘Robotic Club’ in the college, which will aim to propagate research in the field of Robotics, and to encourage students to participate in various competitions organized in the IITs and other institutions.
