Railways will be running four special trains during the period of March-June 2017 for coping up with spurt in passenger traffic as a result of summer holidays and upcoming festival of holi. The special trains will run between Jammu Tawi and Udaipur, CST (Mumbai) and Jammu Tawi, Jalandhar City and Katihar and Saharsa and Ferozepur Cantt.
Jammu Tawi-Udaipur-Jammu Tawi Garib Rath Express Special Train (04972/04971) will make 17 round trips (34 trips in all). 04972 will leave Jammu Tawi every Thursday at 9.30 am every Thursday, starting March 9 (ending June 29, 2017) and will reach Udaipur at 9.20 am on the next day. 04971 will depart from Udaipur every Friday at 1.40 pm and will reach Jammu Tawi at 11.15 am on the next day.
The train will have AC 3-tier accommodations. Stoppages of train will include Pathankot Cantt, Jalandhar Cantt, Ludhiana, Dhuri, Jakhal, Hisar, Bhiwani, Rewari, Khairthal, Alwar, Bandikul, Dausa, Gandhinagar, Jaipur, Kishangarh, Ajmer, Nasirabad, Bijainagar, Bhilwara, Chanderiya, Mavli and Ranapratap Nagar.
