The All India Inter University Women’s Boxing Tournament is about to begin from 28^th January in Lake City Udaipur. Female Boxers from 70 Universities are likely to participate in this mega tournament. The boxing event will take place in the grounds at Pratapnagar and will continue until 1^st February.  VC SS Sarangdevot informed that all preparations are in the final stage for this grand boxing event. More than 600 female boxers from 70 universities will participate in the boxing championships. All boxers will have to undergo doping tests for the event.

Participants have started reaching Udaipur from various parts of the country. Until Thursday, boxers from Agra, Maharashtra and Amravati had arrived in the city. The rehearsals will begin from Saturday. The match will be judged through latest international techniques.
