Today, on the occasion of World Disabled Day, State’s Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment, Ashok Bairwa visited newly established professional training institute of ‘Viklang Kalyan Samiti’, for the physically disabled. He pushed forward his thoughts of assisting the physically challenged people, in becoming financially independent.
Bairwa inspected various sections of the institution, including computer centre, stitching, photography, handicraft, candle making, electronic repairing, plumbing, binding, printing etc. and suggested to boost the confidence of special people.
Ashok Bairwa was accompanied by Dr. Y. S. Kothari, Secretary of Viklang Kalyan Samiti. The centre is constructed with the investment of Rs. 1 Crore.
The Minister also met deaf and mute children and learned about their activities. Bairwa visited the place where students live, the kitchen area and inspected cleanliness and hygiene. He also congratulated children for achieving 100 percent results in board exams, 80 percent of the students were passed with first class.
