Dr. Sunil Jhangid, neonatologist Dr. Mani Bhatnagar and trained team of staff took care of the baby. She was kept under ventilator and medicine was poured in her lungs for her to breathe properly. There has been no report in the state where a baby so light had been saved.

After 35 days, the baby girl learnt to breathe on her own. She was kept in the ICU for three months.
Today after 3 months, she now weighs 1800 gm and is living a healthy life with her twin sister. Dr. Jhangid said that with efficient doctors and nurses, it is now possible to save premature babies with 500 or 600 gm weight.
