The Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Udaipur, Rajasthan’s first IIM was officially inaugurated today by Dr. CP Joshi –Union minister for Road Transport and Highways at its temporary campus at Polymer Science building. Dr. CP Joshi answered the queries of IIM students and praised their intellectuality.

To commence the ceremony, Vipinchandra Sharma – Chief Administrative Secretary (Technical Education) said that “this is another milestone in the state of Rajasthan which is developing in every particular area to combat various international challenges, institutes like IIM will give a new progressive direction to the nation.”
Dr. C.P Joshi said that “to make India a developed country we need to apply well assembled developing model to bring social reform, which is certainly a challenge. We need to overlook the social diversity in India by looking at a common perspective, which is the only way to develop the country.”
While leading the event today, C.K Birla-President of Indian Research Institute said “Institutes like IIM’s are an opportunity for the talented people and this will surely help in making a golden image of the country.”
To conclude the program, Prof. I.V Trivedi delivered a thanks giving speech.
Many notable people including MLA Raghuveer Singh Meena, Tribal Area development minister Mahendrajeet Singh Malwaiya and IIM- Udaipur director Prof. Janat Shah were also present in the ceremony.
