Next time passengers take a flight out of Udaipur, the experience is set to be more pleasant than earlier tourist seasons. Long queues at the registered baggage screening point have left many passengers miffed in past but all that is set to change.

Maharana Pratap Airport officials tweeted that they have installed 6 new x-ray machines for hassle free baggage screening. They followed this by stating that the measures are being taken as their objective is happy passengers.

Udaipur airport was in need of additional infrastructure with growing passenger traffic. Readers may recall that Udaipur airport crossed the 1 lakh passenger traffic mark in Nov 2018.
