e-jansuvidha’ kiosk was launched at Udaipur City railway station by MP Arjun Lal Meena. The kiosk will help passengers locate trains, coaches and public utilities.Puneet Chawla, Udaipur divisional railway manager, said that the kiosk will provide passengers with the facility of tracing any utility on the station and a map towards the same.

This service has been launched under Centre’s Digital India initiative. The kiosk comes with four options: PNR status, train status with coach information, station layout with the location of public utilities and information about tourist places in the city.

If a passenger enters train number, the kiosk will give platform number and the exact location of the coach.

Mayor Chandra Singh Kothari, Chittorgarh MP CP Joshi and Udaipur (Rural) MLA Phool Singh Meena were also present during the inauguration.
