Cancer takes too many lives leaving the family with a void. Gaurav Mohnot from Udaipur is on a tour to create cancer awareness among masses. Gaurav will be travelling to 37 nations to spread messages regarding fighting with cancer.

He saw one of his friend’s son die of cancer at barely 1 and half years of age. Demise of such a little child moved Gaurav to a great extent. He decided to take a trip to 37 nations of the world to create awareness among people regarding cancer.

Gaurav will be moving all the way on his bike incurring all expenses on his own. His motive is to collect funds for cancer patients. He wants people to fight with cancer and not give up at all. He wants to encourage people to be strong and wishes to make them understand that cancer is not the end of life. You have to fight to survive. If you give up you are gone.

Basically a wedding planner by profession, Gaurav was deeply saddened by the death of friend’s son. This is when he decided to move forward to help people. His aim is to collect enough funds for cancer patients so that they can undergo treatment and not die just because of lack of money.

He will be covering a distance of 35000 kilometres in 150 days. On 19th August his trip will end in London. The route of travel will be Baroda and Mumbai on bike. From Mumbai he will leave for Iran via sea route. From Iran he will ride the roads on his bike to Russia, Finland, Sweden, Norway, Denmark, Germany, Poland, Ukraine, Greece, Romania, Croatia, Hungary, Austria, Portugal, Italy, Switzerland, Netherland, Ireland and finally end his trip in Buckingham Palace. Funds collected on this journey will be given to cancer hospital in Mumbai for cancer patients.
