Drive along the Udaipur-Chittorgarh highway is set to get smoother and faster with extension of the existing highway to six lane. The foundation stone laying for the proposed six-laning will happen on Oct 15,2016.
The foundation stone for the six lane highway will be laid by Chief Minister Vasundhara Raje along with Nitin Gadkari, Minister of Road Transport and Highways of India. The six laning will start from Debari Junction on NH-76 and will culminate at Chittorgarh.
The six lane highway will be 93km long and will be constructed at an estimated cost of Rs 1,109 Crores.
Foundation stone for other road projects that have been sanctioned in the region will also be laid by CM and the Union Minister.
