Udaipur citizens come forward to help Uttrakhand Victims

Various social organizations and local groups of Udaipur have come forward to help for Uttrakhand Victims. Financial aid of Rs. 2,96,000 was handed over to district collector by two different organizations of the city.

Rajasthan Vidyapeeth employees have decided to give their one day salary to help the flood victims of Uttrakhand.

Foster Care India, an NGO based in Udaipur is also planning to reach Dehradun in next few days to help the victims.

Representatives of Vijay Jain Yuvak Parishad and Anuvrat Seva Samiti met District Collector Vikas Bhale and handed over the fund. Jain Yuvak Parishad contributed Rs. 75,000, while Anuvrat Seva Samiti pitched in with Rs. 1.21 Lac. Udaipur Electrical Association has contributed Rs. 1 Lac for the cause.

All the employees of Janardan Rai Nagar Rajasthan Vidyapeeth have also decided to give their one day’s salary to facilitate the victims of flood hit Uttrakhand and also paid homage to those who died in the flood.

Ian Anand, founder of Foster Care India, an organization that works for vulnerable children, has decided to help the flood victims by working for them on the ground. Anand and his team is leaving for Dehradun on 30th June.
