These dogs have been procured from Bangalore. He also said that the dogs ability to get to the source of smell is very acute and the animal approaches the source silently and stealthily, ensuring that the suspects are not aware that they have been cornered. However, ADG Pankaj Kumar has warned that the dogs should not be kept near coolers or AC and should be exposed only to natural shade or fan cooling, else the dogs could get lazy.
