Udaipur’s shooter Adhiraj Singh Rathore has been selected by National Rifle Association of India (NRAI) to represent team India at the World Junior Championship that will be organized from 9th to 18th September at Lonato, Italy.
It is to consider that in the third and fourth selection trial held at Dr. Karni Singh Shooting Range in Delhi, Adhiraj Singh secured first position in trap shooting event (junior).
Adhiraj Singh’s father Raghavendra Singh who is the President of Rajsamand Rifle Shooting Association informed that besides Adhiraj, 15 other shooters of Rajasthan are selected who will participate in the Asian Shooting Championship in Tehrain (Iran) in October.
Adhiraj Singh Rathore has previously won silver medal in an international competition in Kazakhstan. He has also participated in the world cup championship at Germany and Finland. Presently, he is undergoing rigorous training at Rajsamand shooting range of international standards.
