Headquartered in Udaipur and with offices in Delhi and San Francisco, the tech-driven digital marketing company – Obbserv – was among 25 companies that visited Israel as a part of first Indo-Israel delegation. It [the delegation] became a part of “What’s Coming Next” – an event that offered the guests with a panoramic view of the massive impact that digital technologies has made on modern economies. Organized by India Chapter of International Advertising Association (IAA), the event was held from 23-28 July 2017. The tour was led by Neeraj Roy, MD and founder of Hungama and President of IAA India chapter.
Purpose of this participation was to connect as merging media tech, Ad Tech and retail tech companies. The event focused on various happenings in the field of Virtual Reality, marketing & advertising technologies, augmented reality, machine learning, etc. This tech tour of Israel included a high level interaction between the invited companies and dignitaries of eminent organizations from across the corporate world.
There was a meeting with Mayor of Tel Aviv – Ron Huldai, Municipality of Tel Aviv, the financial center and the technology hub of Israel. Few other meetings with Yoni Bloch (an Israeli musician and hi-tech entrepreneur), Chemi Peres (the managing general partner and Co-Founder of Pitango), among other, got the show rolling.

There as also a talk session by senior management of Viber on future of messaging. The session was followed by a visit to Jerusalem Venture Partner to understand the future of investment trends; visit to Intel; Google Israel; ClickTale (world’s #1 enterprise class-experience management platform), Waze (world’s largest community-based traffic and navigation app), Mobileye (driver less vehicles), Curiyo ( engagement platform ), Vimmi and many more.
Apart from learnings and insights, the group was also introduced to prominent hot spots and tourist destinations of Israel, viz. Masada, Dead Sea, etc.
