The week long UT Photo Contest for Amateur photographers ended yesterday at 11:59pm, with entries coming in by lots even till the last hour. We, at UT, had thought that we should submit the entries to our judges and give them at least a full night to drool over the awesome photos that were captured by our amateur click masters!
However we lived upto our commitment to wait till the last minute and hence had no option but to announce the results by midday on 20th August, which is today.
The winners of the contest are
- Anshul Sukhwal
- Neel Mehta
- Ankit Sukhwal
Whereas, UT’s Choice Award goes to Siddhant Agarwal.
Fabulous work guys, as our judges had a real tough time in filtering out the best ones from the good stuff that was sent in to us. Here we are publishing the choicest of entries that were received by us, with name of Amateur Click Masters alongside their entries and captions along with the photos. The top three entries are of course at the top of the post followed by other ones that could not make it, since we had no slots beyond the top three.
Various aspects and locations around the City of Lakes have been showcased in this event and our team at UT had a nice time appreciating and commenting on the entries.
The contest has been judged by Sharad Agarwal and Amit Gupta, founding members of Talon, the premier Nature Photography Club of Udaipur. UT team thanks them both for their contribution and support.
This is just the beginning folks; you need to wait and watch for all the other great contests we have lined up at UT for our readers.
The three top entries have been classified as Critics Choice. The remaining entries will be once again posted on Facebook UT Page separately. Readers are requested to LIKE and SHARE the photos of their choice. The Top 3 MOST LIKED AND SHARED Counts will be given as the Readers Choice Award.
So, here we go. Have fun and see Udaipur and our Amateur Photo Shooters at their Best.

Its good to see a whole new perspective of Udaipur…
Thanks Zaheer for your appreciation..
What a treat to watch these pics. All of them are great and as mentioned it must have been really difficult to choose the winning pics.
Thanks to UT for such contest !!! Specially for amateur photographers 🙂
Looking at all, it was certainly difficult to select winners. Well done all photographers.
All of them brilliant. Udaipur is my favorite destination for photography.
Beautiful pictures…. I am amazed and surprised of the colors and beauty of Udaipur…. Its more like reliving Udaipur….
Hope UT keeps up such interesting activities….
Thanks UT —–
And an obvious thanks to the photographers of Udaipur who shared their great work and allowed us to look at Udaipur from the eye of their camera….
Great pictures! May be an exhibition someday. Include more subjects: Gulab bagh, sajjangarh, Badi and other attractions.
Also, different categories may help: nature, around Udaipur, people, abstracts, models, funny subjects, unusual subjects, etc.
The details of any special equipment or exposure, timing etc. underneath the picture will help.
The natural beauty of Udaipur is worth preserving and more we allow the natural succession of plants, more beautiful it will become. Avoid too many man made cement sculptures, fountains and artificial items.
Congratulations to all the participants!
