Lake Badi has touched the 21 feet mark on Thursday. Udaipur city had 1 inch of rainfall by Thursday evening within 20 minutes. Sisarma was flowing at 5 feet (which earlier was at 3 feet) as the catchment areas had heavy rainfall. This has increased the flow of water in Lake Pichola. Devas also had 35 mm of water.

Udaipur lakes are getting constant water flow. Since Sisarma was flowing at 5 feet, the inflow in Lake Pichola increased. The gates of Swaroop Sagar are now required to be lifted even higher. Another good part is that Vallabhnagar dam is also receiving water and the level has gone to 12 feet. Badi Lake has actually crossed 21 feet.

Since the 5th phase of monsoon is bringing in heavy rains, the Water Resource Department has become more alert. All disaster management teams have to be extremely alert and stay prepared to deal with relief services.
