With good rainfalls continuing in the catchment area of Udaipur, water levels in the storage dams and lakes have been on a rise. This means that water overflows at Fatehsagar, Pichhola and Udaisagar is here to stay for some more time.

Water level at Dewas increased by over half a feet and has touched the 18 feet mark. In parallel, water levels at Madri dam has crossed the 27 feet mark. Considering the rise in Madri dam water level, irrigation department is gearing up for closing the Aakodara dam gates and opening the Madri dam gates for getting water into the lakes of Udaipur.

Jaisamand is also on the brink of overflowing and is 1 feet away from brimming over.

Udaisagar overflow has contributed significantly to the water levels at Vallabhnagar dam and the water level at Vallabhnagar dam has reached 11 feet.

Considering the continuous flow of water, all four gates of Lake Fatehsagar and two gates of Lake Swaroop Sagar continued to remain open. Sisarma river continued to feed into Pichhola and was flowing between 3.5 feet to 3.8 feet.
