Cyclone Feni, which is wrecking havoc in the eastern coast of India, also brought about a mild change in weather in Udaipur.

The skies had a light cover of clouds since morning. The cloud cover brought about a much needed relief from the belting summer heat over the past few days where the temperatures were consistently above 40 degree celsius.

The cloud cover gradually increased and also brought about mild showers at around 1 pm in different parts of the city. Maximum temperature today is expected to have dropped around the 36-37 degree celsius mark.

Even though temporary, the weather change was much welcomed by tourists and localites alike. Places like Fatehsagar and Pichola saw a good tourist turnout even in the afternoon.
