King is a male sloth bear in Sajjangarh Bio-Park. He is glad to have a surprise since Sushmita, a female sloth bear from Shyama Prasad Mukherjee Zoological Park in Surat, has come to Udaipur’s Bio-Park and she will be King’s partner from now on…hoping that their horoscopes meet and they start a family in the coming future.

The entry of female sloth bear in Sajjangarh Bio-Park is actually a great source of hope since the park has few bears. King has been alone since long and he has only Bholu, the Himalayan bear, for company. Now with a female companion in the park, King will no more be lonely. Sushmita will be under medical supervision for 21 days after which she will be released in the display area. She is being fed as per the standards of Central Zoo Authority, New Delhi. So all fingers crossed…, Sajjangarh Bio-Park will have the numbers of bear increasing soon.
