2 women have been arrested in case of blackmailing a petrol pump owner after honey trapping him. ACB has arrested the two women while they were allegedly collecting the ransom amount of Rs 11 lakh. 2 advocates have also been arrested by police for interrogation.
SP Kailash Chandra Bishnoi informed that they are currently carrying our interrogation with the two arrested ladies and also trying to figure out the role of 2 advocates. The two advocates have been identified as Devendra Kumawat and Ashok Tank while the two ladies have been identified as Manju and Vandana. One of the two ladies is said to be a business development agent of Max Life Insurance.
As per details received, the two women trapped the petrol pump owner with their romantic acts and then black mailed the petrol pump owner with his objectionable pictures and recordings. The women allegedly reached the Police Station for lodging a case of rape against the petrol pump owner. Police did not lodge the case but informed the petrol pump owner about the case. A case for out of court settlement was made by advocates and Rs 50 Lakhs demanded.
When the petrol pump owner informed SP about the case, a team was set up for investigating the case. ASP Gopal Swaroop Mewara laid a trap for nabbing the women red-handed while accepting the ransom amount. Police formed various teams and laid a trap around the area. The accused apparently changed the location for ransom delivery for roughly 4 hours after which they called the petrol pump owner at an isolated spot near Mahila Police Station.
Police nabbed the 2 women along with 2 advocates from the scene and they were all brought to Police Station. The ladies and advocates were arrested after initial interrogation. Police is now trying to figure out if there have been similar other cases in past where the ladies have been involved.
