Siraj Mirza, a resident of Lucknow, reached Udaipur yesterday as part of his 8000 Kms ride on his Royal Enfield spreading awareness against drunken driving.
Siraj said that he had lost his 21 year old friend due to an accident. His friend was returning home on evening from work when he was hit by a car coming from wrong side. Apparently the driver was drunk and that cost the life of Siraj’s friend.
Post losing his friend, Siraj decided to start a campaign spreading awareness against drunken driving. He is on a 8000km ride that he started from Lucknow on Apr 1 and plans to complete by Apr 30.
Last year Siraj had taken a 7000km ride till Bhutan to spread awareness against rising incidents of acid attacks in the country.
