In an accident near Hotel Lakend early morning, two people got injured. As per reports, Dr. Goyal of GBH Hospital was cycling with his friend Amit Gautam near Hotel Lakend. They were hit by a car and got injured.

A car coming down the slope from Hilltop side hit Dr. Goyal and Amit Gautam. The car driver was talking to someone on mobile phone when his car hit these two cyclists. There were tourists from Uttarakhand in the car and were probably out to check the early morning weather in the city. The car has been seized by Ambamata police. Reportedly, Dr. Goyal got seriously injured in this accident.
