In a tragic incident yesterday morning, a house crumbled in Chamanpura claiming one life. The incident happened when people had gathered for the last rites of Sitadevi(42) who passed away on Friday night. The house, situated near Model school in Chamanpura, was in precarious condition and collapsed under pressure.

Sitadevi (42) was suffering from brain tumour and was declared dead on Friday evening. Given that her husband Jagdish Nimawat’s house was in precarious condition, Sitadevi’s parents came and took her dead body to their police. Jagdish however was adamant that the last rites had to be performed from his place. Jagdish lodged a police complaint against in-laws demanding that they bring the dead body back. The dead body of Sitadevi was then brought back by police to Jagdish’s place.
