Test drive proves fatal for 14 year old
A minor dies while taking test drive.
Little did this minor know that the test drive would prove to be fatal. A 14 year old boy died in Falasia when he drove a new bike that belonged to his maternal uncle.
Somraj s/o Suresh Gamar took his maternal uncle’s bike for test drive. The bike was bought only a day ago. Somraj went to his friend Narayan’s house and took him along for the drive. They informed at home that they would be back after a short drive but went further ahead on the highway. Just one and half kilometre away from their house, the bike collided with a trucked parked on roadside on NH-58 E.
The bike went right under the truck. Hearing the sound of collision, villagers ran towards the accident spot and pulled out both the boys. Somraj was already dead since the mask had badly hit his face and head. Narayan was taken to Jhadol medical centre since he was seriously injured. Body of Somraj was sent to the mortuary.
When Narayan was taken to the hospital, there was no medical staff available for treatment because of the strike of doctors. After managing first-aid through nursing staff, he was referred to Udaipur.
