In a devastatingly heart rending incident, a car blast has been reported near Swagat Vatika, Sector 3, Hiran Magri.  As per onlookers and information received through social media groups, the car was reported to be a red colored Hyundai i10.  The registration number has been disfigured due to the fire however, the last four digits are reported to be 6208.  Again as per information received and confirmed through the VAHAN service, the complete registration number is RJ27CF6208 and belongs to Reetu Jain.  The vehicle is a Hyundai Grand i10 Sport petrol version.

As per more reports received, there was an existing wiring issue which resulted in a short circuit causing the fire.  This caused all gates to get locked automatically.  The only person in the car, Reetu Jain was returning from marriage preparations at her parents place and on the way home.  A two wheeler driver tried to get the gates to open when he saw the fire and heard the woman screaming, but a fireball injured him too and burnt his vehicle too.  In all, the car was exhumed in 6 seconds before anyone could even attempt to do anything about it.  The large balls of fire kept the onlookers away and none could get near the vehicle.  The fire brigade and police arrived immediately, but by then everything was in ashes.
