With less than a week to go for the Independence Day Celebrations, the administration has been put on a state of High Alert.

Mohammed Yasin Pathan, ADM (city), informed that all the security arrangements are up to date. The administration is keeping a strict vigilance on every suspected activity including checking-up of all hotels and “dharamshalas”. All top police officials have been ordered to keep a high level vigilance.

Entry passes for Independence Day at the Maharana Bhupal Stadium will be provided by the Administration.

ADM (city) was informed by UT correspondent that a suspected vehicle has been lying on a very busy area of Hathipole for very a long period. This vehicle could belong to or be used by anti-social elements. Taking immediate action, ADM (city) immediately ordered the concerned police official of the area to seize the vehicle.
