Administration is all geared up to make elevated road from Udiapole to Court Circle. All buildings and shops falling in periphery of elevated are being marked.

Municipal Corporation and administration have issued notices towards 90 such buildings and shops which fall in the periphery of elevated road. Action will soon be taken towards these marked buildings. Businessmen and merchants are now tensed and agitated with this fact.

The issue is that a lot of shops, 20 bank branches and some complexes fall into elevated road’s periphery. These will need to be demolished for making support pillars. This periphery includes building of Waqf board and some part of RNT Medical College.

Businessmen have expressed their concern over the facts that if buildings and shops are demolished, will the respective owners be compensated financially or not, will they be assigned new locations for their shops? Situations have not yet been made clear for this.
