A meeting of District Level Traffic Management Committee was organized today, led by Mohd. Yasin Pathan, Addl. District Collector.

In the meeting, the decision to repair the roads of National Highways were rolled out. It was also made clear that Nagar Nigam will install CCTV Cameras, for which, Superintendent of Police will take the responsibility of issuing tenders.  The necessary work to smoothen the traffic flow in the city will be wrapped up by Nagar Nigam till 30^th Sept, 2013.

It was also decided that necessary funds will be taken from Sadak Surakhsha Fund via Rajya Nirmaan Mantralay, and application for it will be sent soon.

On the topic of Flyover construction, the necessity of flyover in Eklingpura and Madri Chauraha was also discussed in the meeting. Repair of the major roads including Balicha Highway, Debari-Gudli, Mavli Gate – Gudli was also emphasized.

A detailed report from the group, which visited Ahemdabad for traffic management related study was also requested.
