District Collector, Bishnu Charan Mallick chaired a meeting to take stock of administrative preparations for Mewar Mahotsava and Rajasthan Day celebrations.

Mallick emphasised the need for making the programme entertaining and holding them close to residential areas so that a large number of people can participate.

Mewar Mahotsava will be held from 20 to 22 March. As part of this, various social groups will bring their Gangaurs to Gangaur Ghat. Special decoration arrangement, fireworks, cultural evening, Royal Gangaur, International couple competition, light arrangements etc will be the prime attractions.

A marathon will be organised on 27-March. This will be organised by Sports department from 5 pm onward.

A musical evening will be organised on 30-March.
