Union Minister Nitin Gadkari said that automobile companies will soon deliver cars with fitted number plates. The cost of this number plate will be included in the cost of the vehicle.

Car companies will deliver cars with the number plates fitted on them in the near future. This also means that the cost of the number plate will be included in the vehicle’s cost. The new feature will certainly assure that all cars will have similar number plates.

Numbers on the pre-fitted car’s number plate will be embossed later through machine. The Minister also said that new technology number plates are intended to bring uniformity across states. He also said that there will be no compromise in terms of security and they will be same for economy and luxury models.

It may also be noted that it will be mandatory for all cars manufactured after July 2019 to have air bags and seat belts reminders. Speeding alert systems are also part of the mandatory rules.
