Late night transfer orders of 5 July will be effected tomorrow as Chetan Ram Deora takes over as District Collector of Udaipur, while Alwar witnesses women empowerment at the administrative level

Chetan Ram Deora has held the post of DM and Collector, Chittorgarh for a period of 9 months before being transferred to Udaipur in late night orders on 5 July.  Prior to that Deora was District Magistrate and District Collector of Dungerpur, again for a period of 9 months.

Officiating Collector of Udaipur, OP Bunkar announced today that IAS officer Chetan Ram Deora will be taking over as District Magistrate and District Collector of Udaipur on 10 July. He will be taking over from Aanandhi, who has been transferred as District Collector of Alwar.

Chetan Ram Deora has held the post of DM and Collector, Chittorgarh for a period of 9 months before being transferred to Udaipur in late night orders on 5 July.  Prior to that Deora was District Magistrate and District Collector of Dungerpur, again for a period of 9 months.

Aanandhi, who served Udaipur as Collector and DM from December 2018 till July 2020, has been transferred to Alwar, which has seen a major overhaul in its administrative task force.  IAS Aanandhi, who has been apppointed District Collector of Alwar joins IPS Tejasvini Gautam, who has been given the post of Superintendent of Police, Alwar and Sangeeta Sharma, who is District Magistrate, Alwar. This will be Aanandhi's fifth district as Collector.

Chetan Ram Deora, the new DM and Collector of Udaipur has held significant administrative posts in his illustrious career and comes to Udaipur, as the city, along with the globe is fighting the COVID pandemic.  The last 10 days in Udaipur have seen over a 100 new cases and the relief measures given in Unlock 1 and 2 have added to the burden extensively along with incoming infected migrants.
