26th January Republic Day is one of the awaited events in India. It is a proud moment for every citizen. The day is celebrated everywhere in India. This year, too, celebrations will be on but with some difference.

A meeting was held on Monday regarding the Republic Day celebrations and it was decided that the celebrations be kept quite brief in the wake of corona. ADM City and ADM Administration were present in the meeting wherein it was decided that the celebrations will happen but in a different way to ensure safety for the masses. Social mandates will be strictly followed. Masks have to be worn, thermal scanning will be done, sanitisation will be taken care of and social distancing will be followed.

It was directed that children and the elderly will be prohibited from entering the venue as they are more vulnerable. Only 2 platoons each of Police and Home Guard will be parading the grounds.

The teams have been directed to make proper arrangements for entry, flag hoisting, parade, national anthem, furniture, photography, drinking water, fire brigade, mike system, ambulance and Paramedical staff. It is of utmost importance that the ground is kept clean and smooth traffic is taken care of.
