The District Administration gave important instructions to all the departments and asked to make necessary arrangements for the expected flood conditions.

District collector Rohit Gupta informed that Disaster Management Centers will be established at district and tehsil level. Also, water resources department will inspect the siren warning system installed in parts of the district. Wireless sets will be set on dams and lakes to give warnings in case of emergencies and overflow.

At the village level, the water resource department will instruct the rural development department to repair and secure small ponds and not to use the shabby school buildings and government offices.

The collector specifically instructed the establishment of control room that will monitor monsoons prior to 24 hours as well and send immediate information in cases of destruction of property during floods.
