Common public can now post feedbacks regarding the working of police in the city. The option of Feedback About Police Station has been added to the website of police department.

If you have lodged a complaint in the police station and it is not being taken care of, you must fill up a form on this website and make your complaint be seen and checked by the Police headquarters. You can also give feedback regarding working of police, their attitude and any other complaint regarding police officers on this website.

The person filling in feedback form has the option of keeping his/her identity hidden. Complaints against working of a particular police station can also be given in the feedback. Both negative and positive feedbacks can be given on this site.

Ranking of a particular police officer or a police station will be based on this feedback. Officers of ADG level will be monitoring these feedback forms. Action may be taken against any police station based on the quality of feedback.

There is also an option of checking details of FIR lodged by self. A portal option called CCTNS (Crime or Criminal Tracking Network System) has been started on the department’s website. A person can see the progress in the FIR lodged by him and can also download a copy of the same. Citizens do not need to make rounds of police stations to get a copy of their FIR and find details about it.
