After the mass demonstration held yesterday against the behavior of Resident Doctors, the Kshatriya Mahasabha announced a hunger strike till the doctors who allegedly assaulted the patient’s relatives don’t get arrested.

Kshatriya Mahasabha also demanded the FIR, lodged against them by Div. Commissioner, should be taken back.

Under the leadership of Balu Singh Kanawat, 14 members of the group started their hunger strike against the misbehavior of the resident doctors. The Mahasabha sticks to their demand of immediate arrest and suspension of the resident doctors.

Manohar Singh Krishnawat, Patron of the Mahasabha; Balu Singh Kanawat, President; Ashok Singh, Deep Singh, Shakti Singh, Khem Singh Ranawat, Tanveer Singh, Sultan Singh,Takhat Singh, Kuldeep Singh, Gajpal Singh, Yuvraj Singh, Kamlaindra Singh and Bhanwar Singh Chouhan were on hunger strike today.

While the Kshatriya Mahasabha continues its protest Dr. S.K. Kaushik, Principal, R.N.T Medical College went on a month long leave. Kaushik’s retirement is due after three months.

Dr. Suresh Goyal, In-charge of RNT Medical College, in the absence of Dr. Kaushik denied to comment anything on the issue.

According to sources, in another case of assault by the hospital parking stand staff, the M.B. Hospital administration has terminated the contract.
