The meeting for the organization of Independence Day celebrations was held today under the Chairmanship of B.R. Bhati, Additional District Collector (Administration) with other bureaucrats.

The rehearsal will be held at 9:00 am on 13^th August at Maharana Bhopal Stadium.

According to the program set by the District Administration, the Additional District Collector will read the message by the Governor of the State to public. The Chief Guest will honor prominent achievers and award approbation letters to individuals for their services. Post this, school students will perform drills and group dances. The event will commence with National Anthem.

Applications by organizations/individuals to be awarded for their excellent service at District level award function will be accepted from 20^th July till 5^th August.

Udaipur Municipal Council will decorate Historical monuments and Government offices by attractive electric lights. District Administration will also organize a friendly cricket match on the occasion.
