District Collector Rohit Gupta has initiated a plan to solve the problem of stray animals wandering on roads which many times cause accidents and traffic jams.

District Collector Rohit Gupta has initiated a plan to solve the problem of stray animals wandering on roads which many times cause accidents and traffic jams.

As per the directions of collector all abandoned animals like cows and buffaloes will get registered and the animals will be tagged. The project will start from 22nd June.

Dr Lalit Joshi of Veterinary Hospital said that, all animal hospitals situated at Pula, Hiran Magri, Krishi Upaj Mandi will execute the task jointly. Owners of the livestock staying in city are requested to cooperate with administration.

Dr Mahesh Kapila, Joint director of Animal Husbandry said that the process will be done till 15th July and no owners can leave their animals on road after tagging. If we find tagged animals on road, the owner will face fine by Udaipur Municipal Corporation.
